The 5DT Head Mounted Display (HMD) offers the user affordable quality, high resolution (SVGA), a crisp image and superior sound quality packaged in a sleek, comfortable and extremely light headmount design. The HMD provides for user configurable immersion levels. Other features are adjustable top/back ratchets, a mounting base for head trackers and a flip-up mode for reality checks. SVGA, PAL and NTSC input signals are accepted.

5DT Virtual Laser Range Finder/5DT Virtual Night Vision Goggles

5DT offers Virtual Laser Range Finder [LRF] and Virtual Night Vision Goggles [NVG]. The Virtual LRF contains buttons interfaced with USB to emulate standard joystick buttons. 5DT can integrate its optics and button controller into existing commercial LRF or NVG shells, or provide a generic solution when necessary. 5DT also provides state-of-the-art turnkey software solutions for LRF and NVG Training.

Virtual Binoculars

The 5DT Virtual Binoculars are aimed at VR applications and simulations where binoculars are used to obtain a magnified view, e.g. ship bridge simulators, small arms shooting simulators, virtual observation posts, Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower simulators and virtual laser rangefinders and designators. The system features a futuristic and ergonomic design. Magnetic or inertial head trackers may be fitted into the system. A camera-mount block for a tripod mount may be supplied.
