Headmount Display's are a key element of an immersive environment. The user cannot be distracted by events outside of the world being viewed. Navigation and direction of view are controlled by the positional trackers commonly used in this set-up.

Stereoscopic support will transform a 2D image into a 3D image. The world itself is modelled in computer graphics with the navigation of the virtual space.

Image quality is defined by Field of View, Pixel Resolution and Refresh Rate.
