New Developments in "virtual reality stores" enable store planners to provide a rapid means of presenting their latest store concepts to other departments and suppliers.

The virtual reality store takes a series of "models and textures" at various predefined "nodes" throughout the VR store to produce images which can be "zipped" together to form a virtual store. Retail planning in VR allows the store to look at product placement in order to encourage customers to move to the hotspots along a predetermined path.
